With an iLO Advanced license you get peace of mind with the following security features: Directory Service Authentication allows for user-password policies to be inherited from a directory without the need to update user-password setting in each server Kerberos authentication provides dual authentication allowing users to log in once and navigate between servers Secure groups with iLO Federation allows an iLO to encrypt and sign messages to other iLOs in same group. Security is a big concern for customers and with HP iLO we help alleviate some of those worries. With an HP iLO Advanced license, you can enable the full implementation of iLO Federation management for features such as Group Firmware Updates, Group Virtual Media, Group Power Control, Group Power Capping and Group License Activation. To remotely manage groups of servers at scale, iLO Federation offers built-in rapid discovery of all iLOs, group configurations, group health status, and ability to determine which servers have iLO licenses. Integrated Remote Console capabilities include Keyboard, Virtual Media, Global Team Collaboration, Video Record/Playback. HP iLO provides an Integrated Remote Console for remote administration so you can control your server from any location through HP iLO’s web interface, remote console, command line interface or mobile app.
